  5. The album's best track, naturally, was the blues cover, Clapton's take on Elmore James's "The Sky Is Crying." But There's One in Every Crowd was a disappointing follow-up to Ocean Boulevard, and fans let Clapton know it: While the former album had topped the charts and gone gold, the latter didn't even make the Top /
  6. Don't blame me. Don't blame me. I hide it all except a few seeds And make him think I plant for me. When Mr. Grant and I know all the while We've got enough for the whole island. Three years now we sell it in town Under the bucket that goes down. No one knew of it but three: Mr. Grant, Davis and me. [Chorus] I swear by God it is a plot; Davis.
  7. There's One in Every Crowd is the third full-length studio album by Eric Clapton. Recorded shortly after Ocean Boulevard, the album features a style very similar to its predecessor, but did not enjoy similar commercial success.
  8. There's One In Every Crowd was Eric Clapton's studio follow up to Ocean Boulevard. Mr. Clapton dabbled a bit in other musical styles like reggae on that release and he takes that one step further here. He treads into spiritual waters on tracks like "We've Been Told (Jesus Is Coming)" and the old gospel standby, "Swing Low Sweet Chariot".Reviews:
